Persona Creation for Glossier
September 2018
In a team of three, I created two mock personas based on survey responses, contextual inquiries, and market research for Glossier, a makeup brand targeted toward millennial men and women. The project, completed as part of a UX research methods class, served as an introduction into persona creation, affinity sorting, contextual inquiry, and survey collection methods. Two personas, based on these research methods, are included above.

Journey Map for Glossier
October 2018
In a team of three, I created a customer journey map for the persona above, Ashley Monroe. The journey map involved affinity sorting, customer red routes, and user stories in order to build steps within the map that would visualize customer priorities. In addition, research from contextual inquiries, including one I conducted as a user, were implemented in order to understand emotional states, pain points, and improvements. Usability Analysis of Brandless
October 2018
I wrote this 12-page usability analysis of Brandless, an e-commerce website targeted at millennial users that sells over 300 daily essential products. The analysis included the manner in which the company targets millennials, the effect of their minimalist design, and how knowledge projection, scientific studies on empathy, and empathetic product design are employed to appeal to users. Usability testing and contextual inquiries were incorporated as part of data collection.The paper was completed as part of a 4000-level English class studying accessible product design.

Prototyping of Brandless
December 2018
A follow up to the above paper, Usability of Brandless, I studied the impact of design principles on consumer motivation through prototyping the Brandless website. The paper considered research in cognitive science, demographic research on millennials, user testing of the original Brandless site and prototype, and how the research can be applied to design.
